THANKS! I have recently switched to Chrome from Firefox because of speed issues, and the one thing that REALLY annoyed me was the apparent lack of bookmarking a new page. Appreciate the help.

I knew about the star, but have been using Chrome for some time and still cannot find out how to access all the bookmarks I’ve starred!!! I love Google, but this is Bad design.

Come on guys, you’re all lame.. Google uses the star throughout all their software/services as representing a kind of ‘add as favourite’ icon. And they aren’t the first to use a star either. I didn’t see it before but hey, thats one of the reasons chrome is so damn nice, there’s very little clutter which makes the interface clean.. and bob, if it was a book firstly it would look gross and secondly it might make certain confused people like yourself think it’s to book for a movie. clown.

Since when, and for whom, does a star mean “Bookmark this page”? It doesn’t. Arbitrary, non-intuitive nonsense. They may as well have used a picture of a book! Oh, no, wait, that might actually be taken by many people to mean, “Bookmark this page.” I think this is why I don’t use Chrome much. Almost everything I want to do I have to search for an answer online. It’s quicker than trying every item on a menu. What’s wrong with a full head of Menus and buttons up there. I’m using Sea Monkey right now, and it’s all there clearly visible, and it’s faster than Chrome, and the header takes up no more space than Chrome’s spartan thing.
