Delicious+Chrome: Clean and Easy

The Simple Fix
Delicious does not currently have an add-on for Chrome, but you can still create Delicious bookmarks from within Chrome. Just drag this link up to your Bookmarks Toolbar: Del.icio.us
Better than an Add-on
When Delicious does release the inevitable Chrome add-on in a few weeks or months, will you install it? I will probably just keep this button instead. I think it is the simplist and best way to use Delicious.
Do you remember when Firefox was clean and fast?
You remember. Before you got it all hussied up with Fire Gestures and Adbock and all those add-ons. This time, keep the two browsers seperated - Firefox for the full-featured browsing experience and Chrome for the fast and clean browsing experience. If you are like me, you will probably choose the fast one every time. Its the same reason you use Google search instead of Yahoo.
Now. Tell me how much you love me.

You just solved my problem in less then 5 seconds.
Thanks
Hey … thanks a ton!!! This is brilliant!
Excellent. A tip executed in 5 secs and deployed in a minute. Like the man says ‘Simple and Quick and no add-ons’
Suggest you bookmark this page in Delicious and then you can quickly re-use it with Chrome on different computers.
THATS A GOOD SUGGESTION.
Everyone, listen to mcl
Thank you! Brilliant!

Very nice plugin!!
awesome!
It was Great!!! Thanks!
Wow! That’s fantastic, thanks!
oh, wow. this is great
This made my day. Thanks.
Half the problem solved.
How do I see the delicious bookmarks without having to browse to their site?
THANK YOU! Firefox is so slow for browsing, but I always use Delicious so I’m glad I found this!
@Lyle - just add a bookmark that points to delicious.com/home and that will take you to your bookmarks.
Great!!! Thank you so much!
But can’t online search as in firefox plugin
This is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!
Awesome!!!!
awesome, thanks. and i agree- add-ons are cool, but ultimately become like (many, not all) smartphone apps–your effort to make things more convenient makes your life more complicated.
Great!! Thanks a lot
Thanks!
Starting a JAVA course now, so will see if I can understand what you did soon.
fantastic, very useful.
You are well loved!
Well its a good idea as long as you just want to bookmark pages.
But what when I want to search for bookmarks I have allready saved?
Then I’ll have to go to the delicious home page, which frankly is horrible to use.
With the firefox plugin for delicious i can get up a sidebar and search in all the delicious bookmaks I have saved.
So until you can show me something in chrome that is that simple I’ll stick with Firefox. Though I have started to use Chrome a lot more. It still cant match Firefox on available tools.
…which is exactly what Ninja said in his post, Harald.
Ninja, this is brilliant. Thanks for the work, nicely done.
What the guy above said.
Thanks!
This took me all of five minutes, a search on yahoo, first match more trouble then it is worth - the second match this site, as simple as anything else and Delicious was back on the toolbar.
Astounding sometimes the simplicity, no it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of the firefox extension but it does what it should do - Actually work.
So thanks for putting in the most simple terms and clearing up the confusion that may of arisen if to many others followed the first link they saw in the google search resuls.
wow!!! thank you very much!
it works - Very nice!!!
Killer!! I am so excited to have found this. It works wonderfully, and no I will not be installing a Delicious add on. I like the speed and simplicity of Chrome. Why mess with a good thing?
Love it, thank you!!!
